Read the label.
Every disinfectant has a specific contact time (dwell time) for each pathogen. Use exactly as labeled — longer contact is safe, shorter is ineffective.
Key Features
01
Clearly labeled kill claims meet EPA List N or applicable pathogen lists.
02
Modern hospital disinfectants achieve full kill claims in 1–3 minutes of dwell time.
03
Documented compatibility with medical electronics, fabrics, and high-touch surfaces.
04
Available as wipes, ready-to-use sprays, and concentrates for efficient environmental services.
Clinical Use / Infection Control
EPA-registered disinfectants, hand sanitizers, surface wipes, and cleaning solutions that meet clinical infection-control standards for healthcare environments.
Indications
Application Technique

/ 04
Every disinfectant has a specific contact time (dwell time) for each pathogen. Use exactly as labeled — longer contact is safe, shorter is ineffective.
02
/ 04
Remove visible soil before disinfection. Disinfectants do not penetrate organic matter effectively.
03
/ 04
Wet the surface until visibly saturated. Let it remain wet for the full labeled contact time — don't wipe dry early.
04
/ 04
For high-touch surfaces and shared equipment, allow the surface to air dry completely before returning to use.

FAQ / Infection Control
Answers to the questions clinical buyers and care teams ask most about this product category.
Contact time (dwell time) is how long a disinfectant must remain wet on a surface to kill the specified pathogens. EPA-registered disinfectants list contact times per pathogen on the label. Wiping a surface dry before the contact time is met renders the disinfection ineffective.
Check the EPA registration number and refer to EPA List N (or the applicable pathogen list) to confirm efficacy claims. Different products have different kill claims — never assume broad coverage.
Material compatibility varies by product and device. Always check the device manufacturer's cleaning guide and the disinfectant's compatibility list before use. Alcohol-based wipes are generally safer for electronics than bleach.
Cleaning removes soil and organic matter with detergent. Disinfecting uses an EPA-registered product to kill pathogens on pre-cleaned surfaces. You cannot disinfect a dirty surface — clean first, then disinfect.
